Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival
We will receive you at the airport at the said time, and then from there we will take you directly to Nameri National Park. Nameri is a wonderful forest reserve is famous for tigers, Himalayan bison, deer, birds etc. The prime tourist attractions are the trekking inside the forest and the river water rafting over Jia Bhoroli River. After a complete day of fun and enjoyment in Nameri, you will stay at the Nameri for the night.
Day 2
To Dirang
On this day, we willl head out towards Dirang valley. Dirang valley, famous for Dirang - Dzong is a Himalayan foothill valley on the way to Tawang. It is famous among the birders of the world, as different species of Himalayan birds are seen from this place. The other attractions of Dirang are a very old electricity mill, the monasteries, old Tibetan architectures and Tibetan villages. We will stay at Dirang for the night.
Day 3
To Tawang
On this day we will set off to Tawang. .Just outside Dirang, there is a beautiful hot water spring. We will show you the spring and then continue towards Tawang. On the way to Tawang we will get many attractive places. The Sela Pass situated at a height of 13700 feet, the Paradise Lake or the Sela Lake near the Sela Pass and the War Memorial of Jaswantgarh are some of the beautiful sightseeing spots that fall on the route. Before reaching Tawang, you will also get to see the Nuranang waterfalls. After reaching Tawang, we will take you out for sightseeing of the local places of Tawang. We will show you the places like the second largest monastery in Asia, the Tawang Monastery, the Sixth Dalai Lama birthplace, the Nun monastery (which is also accessible by a rope way), the Craft centre, the Emporium, Apple garden, and Tawang War Memorial. Your stay will be at Tawang.
Day 4
Tawang Sight Seeing
On this day, we will go for the sightseeing of places around Tawang, which are not within the locality of Tawang. We will see places like the Sangester Lake, PTSO Lake, the Heart Lake, the Nagula Lake, Y Junction, and the Bum La Pass at the border of India and China. Also, please note an important point that if you are planning to visit the India - China border, then you must choose one of our itineraries with at least 3 days stay at Tawang as the pass for visiting Bum La Pass cannot be obtained within a day. You will be staying at the same place for the night.
Day 5
To Bomdila
On this day, we will come back to Bomdila after finishing all the sightseeing. Bomdila is a beautiful town in the valley of Himalayan foothills. The places to see in Bomdila are Bomdila monastery, Bomdila market, Bomdila view point etc. The Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary is also nearby Bomdila, which is famous for birding of Himalayan birds. Your stay will be at Bomdila for the night.
Day 6
To Kaziranga
From there, we will take you to Kaziranga National Park in the morning. Kaziranga is a World Heritage site situated famous for the one horned rhinoceros. It is also famous for a number of wildlife species like the tiger (which is seen in its natural habitat), different species of deer, Himalayan bison, different species of migratory bird, Himalayan birds etc. On our way to Kaziranga, we will visit Tezpur, also known as the Cultural city of Assam. Famous for many historic places, Tezpur is a beautiful city. After sightseeing of places like the Agnigarh, the Lord Shiva temples, the Ghats of Brahmaputra, and the gardens, we will continue towards Kaziranga. Your stay will be at Kaziranga.
Day 7
Kaziranga Sight Seeing
In the early morning, we will take you to Elephant safari of Kaziranga National Park. There you can enjoy the one horned rhinoceros and other wildlife from closeness. After that we will take you out for the local sightseeing of Kaziranga like the orchid garden, the teagardens of Assam, local villages, ethnic villages etc. In the afternoon, we will take you for Jeep safari of Kaziranga National Park in any of the range of your choice. The night's stay will be at the same place. Also, do not forget to enjoy the delicious Assamese fish curries during the stay.
Day 8
To Majuli
In the morning, we will set out for the beautiful island Majuli. Situated on the river Brahmaputra, Majuli is the largest river island on the planet. With an area of around 1250 square kilometres, it is also the only river island district of India. Majuli, and its people are so beautiful that people from across the world come to visit Majuli, fall in love with the place and then stay there for many days. It is hard to believe that you are living on such a big river island. The prime attractions of this place are the Vaishnavite culture of Hinduism and its institutions/monasteries, the tribal villages, the cycle trips around the island etc. If you are interested, you can also meet the Forest Man of India Padma ShriJadav Payeng (depending on time and his availability), who is famous for creating a forest from a wasteland of 1,360 acres just by planting trees over many decades. You will stay at Majuli for the night.
Day 9
To Guwahati
We will begin our journey towards Guwahati in the morning. After reaching Guwahati, we will show you all the sightseeing places of Guwahati. Guwahati is also called the Gateway of northeast. The places to see around Guwahati are the Kamakhya temple, the Brahmaputra River, the sunset cruises on the Brahmaputra, the Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, and the smallest river island in the world - Umananda and the Umananda temple etc. You will be staying at Guwahati.
Day 10
Guwahati Sight Seeing
We will pick you up from the Hotel and drop you at Guwahati airport according to your departure time with sweet memories of the trip.
